Family Meets Alana

On May 2nd, 2010 my mom Teresa, dad Chris, and sister Ania came to spend a few days with us and got to meet Baby Alana for the first time!  It was a nice visit.  We hung out around the house, went for a walk in a beautiful park, did some shopping, my mom did some cook/cleaning for us....and I finally got help with organizing Alana's closet!  Here are some pictures from the days they were here.  It was sad to see them leave 2 days early, because my dad came down with a bad case of the stomach flu! :(  Chad, Alana, the doggies and I are heading up to Canada the first week of June for my sister's Highschool Graduation.  See you soon!

Stronger Every Day

Growing By the Minute!

 Alana is getting stronger with tummy time.  Yesterday morning, she was able to tolerate over 15 minutes on the boppy pillow.  When you place her on the tummy, she lifts her head and kicks her feet...Pretty soon she will be crawling if she keeps going at this pace!  Slow down a bit, kiddo!!  Mommy is still looking for your "pause" button!!

So Chad and I are trying to make Sundays, "family" days.  Yesterday afternoon it was so nice and warm and sunny outside that we decided to take Alana and the doggies to a beautiful park in West Linn.  It was in the Willamette Valley and the views were spectacular!  We all enjoyed the fresh air and sunshine.  Afterwards, we headed over to PF Chang's Restaurant in Bridgeport Village in Tualatin, OR for Happy Hour.

Alana is more and more alert each day.  She is aware of her surroundings and enjoys hanging out in her play gym!  This was the morning of 04/23/2010.

Our First Date

Chad and I had our first date night when Alana was 3 weeks old, on April 17th, 2010 . She stayed with Grammy Sue and Papa Bruce for the evening. Mommy and daddy went to Portland City Grill for a nice romantic dinner and got a chance to get all dressed up and drive in their sportscar!
