Family Baby Shower

My wonderful family threw me a Baby Shower on March 14, 2010.  It was held at Great-Grandma Walker's house.  Thank you so much for all that attended and all of the beautiful gifts for baby Alana!  I was 35 weeks pregnant on this day and had lots of Braxton Hicks contractions.  I loved my "Mother-to-Be" tiara!  It is "So Ewa!!" LOL

Ewa's Maternity Photos

My good friend Kacey took Maternity Photos of me and my pregnant belly on March 7th, 2010 when I was 34 weeks, 3 days pregnant with our daughter Alana.

Kacey and her husband Eric were wonderful to work with and I cannot recommend them enough! They were a great team. I felt so at ease doing such intimate work, and they managed to turn... my livingroom floor into a studio, so we were in the comfort of our own home/environment. We had so much fun yesterday! I cannot wait to see the other photos that we took...! The teaser pics she sent to us last night has made me and my husband eager to see more! We know we will be in love with them all and we are happy to say that we have a photographer for life. Chad and I can't wait for you to capture our little girl growing up and our family in the future.

Ewa's Work Baby Shower

My wonderful nurse friends Elena, Ciana and Christine threw me a beautiful baby shower for my work collegues.  It was on Valentines' Day in the penthouse suite of my friends' apartment.  Talk about a breath-taking view!The theme was so pretty!  They sure matched the shower colors to my nursery decor!  I was 31 weeks, 3 days pregnant.  Thank you so much girls!  I am truly blessed and touched to have friends like yoU!

3D/4D Ultrasound

Alana's 3D/4D Ultrasound
Feb. 9, 2010 

My birthday present from my in-law's was a 3D/4D ultrasound of our baby girl.  Chad's mom Sue, sister Lindsay, and Grandma Walker all came with us to the appointment.  

Alana was a stubborn little girl and was hiding her little face with her hands and feet almost the entire time until the last 10 minutes. She is still a girl, we got a good look at her "stuff".  I tried my best to get her moving...ate a good breakfast, ate a banana, chocolate and drank lemonaid the whole time. At one point I was doing jumping jacks and moving my hips in the ultrasound room to try to get her to turn. She was head down, facing my back 90% of the time...but we were able to get some good shots of her face at the end. She has my cheeks and nose and Chad's lips and fingers. She flipped us off at one point!

Daddy Feels Alana Kick!

Chad felt the baby kicking for the first time tonight while we were watch TV together downstairs in the livingroom. He never wanted to keep his hand there long enough before! He just had a big grin on his face....it was nice to see him this way!

So we started working on Alana's nursery on January 1st, 2010 and it took us about 6 weeks to complete.

New Year's Eve 12/31/2009

22 weeks Pregnant - Babymoon Vacation in Mexico!!

Chad and I went on a week-long vacation to sunny Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for our Babymoon!  We stayed at Dreams Puerto Vallarta and had a wonderful time!  We stay here every December, same week.  Next year we will bring our daughter Alana with us!

Christmas Time!

Had fun decorating our tree with new ornaments from Chad's mom and grandmother.
